Lapso Celium™ is now available through ADORNO Design

Lapso Celium™, the sculptural lamp developed by Polybion™ in collaboration with Natural Urbano, is now also available through ADORNO Design, a leading international platform for collectible contemporary design. Known for its curatorial approach and global network of independent designers, studios, makers, collectors, and interior design professionals, ADORNO brings together limited-edition and one-of-a-kind pieces that sit at the intersection of craft, material experimentation, and functional art.

First introduced during the London Design Festival, Lapso marked Polybion’s first interior design piece made with Celium™, our Premium Cultivated Cellulose. The lamp brings together biological growth, hand assembly, and warm illumination in a functional object designed for interior spaces.

Each Lapso lamp is made to order by Natural Urbano using five translucent Celium™ sheets. Because the material is grown, no two lamps are exactly the same. Subtle variations in texture, tone, and translucency become part of the piece, making each one unique.

Since its launch, Lapso has continued to find its way into new spaces. Pieces from the Humo and Natural editions have already been sold, produced, prepared, and shipped. A quiet but important step for Celium™ as it moves from material innovation into real objects, real interiors, and real use.

This production process is part of the story. From the preparation of each Celium™ sheet to the assembly of the lamp, the packaging, and the final shipment, Lapso reflects a slower and more intentional way of making: one where the material is not only selected, but grown.
